Garlic Bread


  • 2 tbsp Woh Hup Singapore Hainanese Chicken Rice Paste
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 loaf French bread/baguette
  • 2 tsp dried chopped oregano
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped (for tomato salsa)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano, chopped (for tomato salsa)
  • 1 tsp coriander, chopped (for tomato salsa)
  • ⅓ cup diced onion (for tomato salsa)
  • 1 pinch black pepper to taste (for tomato salsa)
  • 1 tsp olive oil (for tomato salsa)
  • 1 tsp lime / lemon juice (for tomato salsa)

Serves: 3-4

Prep Time: 5 mins

Cook Time: 10 mins


  1. Preheat oven or griller.
  2. Cut French loaf diagonally into 1-inch slices.
  3. In a bowl, combine Woh Hup Singapore Hainanese Chicken Rice Paste with unsalted butter and dried oregano, blend until well mixed.
  4. Spread mixture thinly onto each slice of bread, and place bread into oven or griller to toast.
  5. Toast for 5 – 7 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. In a bowl, stir together all tomato salsa ingredients (Optional).
  7. Top bread with tomato salsa and serve as a scrumptious appetiser. Yummy!
